Profile

As Director, Paul focuses his practice on commercial bankruptcy and delinquent ad valorem tax collections. Paul represents a diverse client base including taxing units, financial institutions, creditors, landlords, commercial tenants, and business owners. Paul has a wide range of experience representing clients in tax and bankruptcy litigation including claims litigation, preference lawsuits, and commercial lease assumption/rejection litigation.

Prior to entering private practice, Paul was a career law clerk for the Honorable D. Michael Lynn in the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Northern District of Texas. Through his clerkship, Paul gained valuable insight into the bankruptcy process, resolution of complex legal issues, and how judges approach matters before them.

Paul is admitted to practice before the United States Supreme Court, United States District and Bankruptcy Courts for the Northern, Southern, Eastern and Western Districts of Texas. Paul is President Elect of the Turnaround Management Association, is the past President of the DFW Association of Young Bankruptcy Lawyers, and a Board Member of the Bloomberg Law Bankruptcy Innovation Board.
